About ZOGA Mining

A Nigerian solid-minerals operator, built long.

ZOGA Mining is the minerals and metals pillar of ZOGA Holdings — a diversified Nigerian group chaired by Her Majesty Queen Zaynab Otiti Obanor and structured to partner with regulators and host communities rather than work around them.

Abuja, Nigeria — headquarters
Headquartered in Abuja · Operations in Benue State

ZOGA Mining develops and operates Nigerian solid-minerals assets with a long investment horizon and a deliberate industrial brief. Our concessions in the Kwande Local Government Area of Benue State sit within the Middle Belt minerals corridor — a geology identified by the Federal Ministry of Solid Minerals Development as strategically important to Nigeria's 2030 sector agenda.

The business was structured around a simple operating proposition: Nigerian minerals are most valuable when they are developed into Nigerian industry. That proposition shapes everything else — the way permits are pursued, the way community agreements are written, the way offtake is structured, and the way closure and rehabilitation are provisioned.

ZOGA Mining sits within the ZOGA Holdings group alongside ZOGA Capital (institutional finance and advisory) and ZOGA Agro-Allied (integrated cassava value chain). The three pillars share a single group office in Abuja, a single Chairperson, and a consistent posture: build with regulators and communities, not around them.

What we are not

  • We do not operate as a tonnage exporter. Our default path is domestic processing and Nigerian offtake.
  • We do not treat rehabilitation as an end-of-life cost. Provision is made from first production.
  • We do not work around community structures. Host-community agreements are a precondition of operation.
